Common questions about our home visits

Find clear answers regarding appointment preparation, clinical safety, coverage options, and what to expect during your first foot care session.

What do I need to prepare before your visit?

Very little is required on your end. Simply choose a comfortable chair in a well-lit area. We supply all sterilized medical instruments, protective towels, and specialized creams.

Are your instruments properly sterilized?

Yes. We strictly adhere to Ontario public health guidelines. Every client is treated using individually wrapped, autoclave-sterilized instruments and single-use disposables.

How long does a routine home session take?

An initial assessment and comprehensive treatment generally lasts 45 to 60 minutes, ensuring ample time for personal care and post-treatment guidance.

Is mobile foot care covered by insurance?

Many extended health insurance providers and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) cover nursing foot care services. We provide detailed clinical receipts for submission.

How frequently should I schedule foot care?

Most clients benefit from visits every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain optimal nail length, prevent painful corn build-up, and monitor ongoing foot health.

Do you travel across Aurora and nearby areas?

Yes, we proudly serve clients across Aurora, Ontario, and adjacent York Region communities directly in their personal residences or retirement homes.
